New York City Schools Using "The Power of Choice" In Classrooms to Compliment the schoolwide Power of Choice Program

One teacher in the New York City schools special education program recommends authors book "The Power of Choice" to teachers nationwide

New York, New York (I-Newswire) September 12, 2006 -- Power of Choice is a schoolwide responsibility training program in New York City Schools designed to teach students to choose responsible behaviors through a personal growth plan. Bruce Goldwell, author of "The Door to Super Achievement", has released a new book titled "The Power of Choice" which compliments the New York City schools program according to Kally Bougadis a special education teacher in District 75. Goldwell wrote "The Power of Choice" especially for young readers so as to empower them to make correct choices on their own. Having made bad decisions which led to negative results in his life, Goldwell realizes the importance of children and teens needing to understand the consequences of right and wrong choices.

"The Power of Choice" compliments the Power of Choice program we use here in the New York City schools. I highly recommend that other teachers in the New York City schools and elsewhere in the nation get Goldwell's book for their classrooms. We can empower the children of today to have the tools they need to succeed in the world of tomorrow as well as make good choices while they are still in our schools", states Kally Bougadis.

After having received a copy of Goldwell's book to review for herself, Ms. Bougadis received permission from the assistant principal of her school to order books for her classroom. She ordered 26 copies directly from the publisher and was given a discounted price. "The Power of Choice" has worksheets for each chapter which gives readers a way to re-enforce what they have read and immediately put the principle into action. Goldwell recommends that teachers either make copies of the worksheet pages for their students so they can re-use the books during another school year or to type the worksheet and make copies.

Mr. Goldwell has written a fantasy/adventure titled "Dragon Keepers" as well which Ms. Bougadis also ordered from Goldwell's publisher in Canada. "Dragon Keepers" will have seven books in the series with a fantasy life of Merlin the Wizard as the main character. Goldwell is incorporating the principles of his self help books into the story so that students can learn the success principles through fantasy, adventure and mystery. It should be noted that his first self help book titled "The Door to Super Achievement" is endorsed to two best selling authors. Goldwell believes that parents, grandparents and other family members will enjoy sharing his "Dragon Keepers" books with their children knowing that they will be able to learn some important principles to help them in life as well as enjoy a great adventure.

"The Power of Choice" is published by PublishAmerica ( www.PublishAmerica.com) which is based in Maryland and "Dragon Keepers" is published by Saga Books (http://www.sagabooks.net) based on Canada . Teachers and administrators wishing to acquire Goldwell's books should contact the respective publisher directly.
