Reviews:

"I was empowered to write this review when I read the previous one. This book is a simple basic learning tool for the young reader. Although it deals with 'Merlin' it actually sets forth the moral values and coping skills for the emerging adult. Regardless of trials and terrors it brings the young dragon keeper to a maturity of soul and spirit. I would definitely encourage any parent to buy this book, in fact I was so thrilled with it that I am buying several for my grandchildren."

"I am a Special Education Teacher in New York and I work with children grades 5-8 who have various learning disabilities as well as emotional challenges. We only have one copy of Dragon Keepers in our classroom and my students are fighting over it!! It's amazing. The only other books that have impacted my students on this level are the Harry Potter and Goosebumps series. I finally found a book that not only peaks their interest but also teaches them good morals and the secrets of having a successful mindset. I would encourage all teachers and parents to get their hands on this phenomenal fantasy. We can't wait till book 2 reaches the shelves."

MISSION: Maggie (9 years old) of Provo, Utah, a student of Rock Canyon Elementary plans to help raise money for the PetsMart Charities and in the process will wittingly help raise money for many other charities as well.

HOW THIS STORY BEGINS:  Maggie is among the first to read a book titled “Dragon Keepers” by a Provo author whose name is Bruce Goldwell.  Since a portion of the proceeds from the sale of “Dragon Keepers” from all sales of the book in the USA goes to the Red Cross, Maggie decided she wanted to help the author promote the book so she could help raise money for this charity as well as one of her favorite charities.

AN ADDITIONAL PRIZE FOR MAGGIE:  Mr. Goldwell informed Maggie that when she sales 100 copies of the “Dragon Keepers” books she will receive an additional copy of the book which will be one of the 1,000 Limited Editions that the publisher is printing.  The Limited Edition copies of “Dragon Keepers” will have one additional illustration (color), be numbered from 1-1,000 and will be autographed by the author.  These Limited Edition copies of “Dragon Keepers” will be donated to each bookstore that purchases 100 copies of the book for the purpose of being auctioned off for charity.  Maggie’s goal is to sale a minimum of 100 copies of “Dragon Keepers” so she can receive one of the Limited Editions so she can donate the book to her school (Rock Canyon Elementary, Provo, Utah) whereby the school can auction the book off for the charity of their choice.

HOW THOSE OF OTHERS SCHOOLS CAN TAKE PART:  Anyone from another school in the USA (see guidelines) that wants to participate in the fundraiser that Maggie is doing can help their school raise money for the charity of their choice. The author will donate Fifty Cents (.50 US) for each book ordered from your schools on behalf of the Maggie Fundraiser.  In addition, for each school that orders a minimum of 100 books via their efforts will also receive one of the Limited Editions, which they in turn can auction off for the charity of their choice.

WHO BENEFITS:

  • Red Cross - Via all books sold (See Red Cross Site)
  • School (50%) & Charity (50%) - via gross profit from sales of books
  • School or Charity - via .50 from Author to school for each book sold
  • School or Charity - via auction of Limited Edition copy of "Dragon Keepers"
