Bruce Goldwell was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1951. At
the early age of 2 he began his career as a rollerskater. By
the age of 6 he won the Southern Regional Skating Championship
in Nashville.
His parents moved to Florida when he was 3 years old. Bruce lived
in West Palm Beach, Florida until age 18 at which time he joined
the Army and was sent to Vietnam in 1970 for a one year tour.
He received the Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam.
Over his lifetime Bruce has had the opportunity to work
in many various fields. He taught high school for three
years at Martin County High School in Stuart, Florida. He
also worked two years as a computer program while he
lived in Utah in 1992-1994. He also has worked privately
designing homes one of which was built in the Parade of
Homes in Alpine, Utah in 1996.
In 1999, Bruce performed in Venice, California and in
Santa Monica on the streets as a way of sharing his music.
He returned in the summer of 2001 to California to
perform again. His music was appreciated by tourist from
both the United States as well as those visiting from
overseas.
